Wednesday Sunrise

What a fantastic sunrise this morning. It is going to be a cold clear morning - another day that the Lord has made for us to be joyful and thankful that we get to experience it.

There are so many blessings that we should be thankful for, but because of the pace of life that we live, we don't even think of them. They are so easily taken for granted until they are lost. Life's circumstances are never ending, there is always an excuse, always a reason why, and most of our blessings we simply "expect" because we "deserve" them.

As we closed our Trail Life meeting yesterday, a scripture came to mind. Luke 2: 52 says - "and Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man." We prayed that those young boys grew as Jesus grew.

As we begin our day in prayer, be thankful for all that we are blessed with. Pray that we grow in our daily walk with God as we too "grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man."

Prayer

Father, you are our creator, our refuge, and our provider. May the song of our heart and soul bring you glory for all that you are to each of us. Teach us to be mindful of the many blessings that you have provided. As our daily walk with you begins, open our eyes to the needs of those around us, let us learn from the wisdom of your

Word and the presence of the Holy Spirit, as we continue to grow in your favor. These things we pray in the Holy name of Jesus. AMEN
